    HOW CAN YOU RECOGNISE THE WEAR PATTERNS OF TOP ROLLERS?
    Top rollers often have different wear patterns than bottom rollers. Common wear patterns of top rollers are: wear on the running surface, wear on the flange and roller leakage. You can recognize wear by: a broken or bent support, a sagged top roller axle, an improperly aligned roller or a stuck roller. If a top roller has a flat side, this means that the top roller is stuck. This is usually caused by sand and/or mud between the top roller and the undercarriage. Regular cleaning of the undercarriage is part of the daily maintenance and helps to prevent this.
